OT education is not exclusively about knowledge and facts. It is about helping students maximize their potential both personally and professionally. Anecdotally, when students fail fieldwork, it is often due to under-developed interpersonal or professional skills. Helping students to develop a sense of their personal and professional identity through a growth mindset and self-regulation is that bridge to competency. Faculty will review frameworks and opportunities to incorporate into their own courses and curriculums.
